Registered and licensed practical and vocational nurses provide skilled nursing services in accordance with a physician prescribed care plan designed to treat specific illnesses, promote recovery from injury or surgery, and manage pain. Services include wound care and dressing changes, infusion therapy, pain management, pharmaceutical administration, skilled observation and assessment, and patient education. Certified nurse aides are used for non-skilled needs.
